Alissa Cordner

Bio

Alissa Cordner is Professor of Sociology at Whitman College. Her research focuses on environmental sociology, environmental health and justice, and the sociology of risk and disasters. Her two major areas of research are the environmental health and justice issues related to toxic chemicals, and wildland firefighter risk and health issues. She is currently the co-coordinator of EDGI’s Policy Monitoring and Interviewing group.
