Workshop Title
Share Your Voice: Public Comment Writing for EPA’s Proposal to Walk Back PFAS Regulations
Overview
EPA is proposing to weaken drinking water protections related to so-called forever chemicals (PFAS or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). Join the Environmental Data and Governance Initiative (EDGI) and our panel of PFAS experts Phil Brown, Alissa Cordner, and Marianne Sullivan for a workshop on writing public comments in response to this proposed rollback.
We all have the opportunity to make our voices heard by submitting a public comment on this proposed rule. Whether this is your first time hearing about public comments or you’re looking to understand more about PFAS and the impacts of these proposed rules, this workshop is open to you! In this session we will:
- Present and explain key components of the proposed rules
- Share tools and tips for writing an effective public comment
- Answer questions about the proposed rules or public comments in general
